Astro-Update! Mercury Retrograde in Aries! Week of 3/27/11

I hope this Blog entry finds you well! On Sunday Venus will move into Pisces where it can be romantic and dreamy over the next month. One of the toughest days this week will be on Monday when the Sun squares Pluto and Jupiter opposes Saturn. This could give us a heavy feeling and it may be hard to get motivated…to put it bluntly, people could be cranky. Unfortunately it is that time again; Mercury turns Retrograde on Wednesday in Aries. I am an Aries (with Mercury and Chiron also in Aries) and I started feeling this last week when my desktop computer crashed. To continue the Aries theme, both Mars and the Moon will move into this pioneering sign on Saturday. That will mean that 6 planets will now be in Aries! Whenever there is this much energy in one sign, it is best to concentrate on energies of the opposite sign…Libra. As we know, Libra is the scales, representing a need for BALANCE! Have a great week…

Saturn Retrograde in Libra 1/26/11-6/12/11

Coming up: Mercury turns Retrograde in Aries 3/30-4/23

Pluto turns Retrograde in Capricorn on 4/9/11-9/16/11

I wanted to add a footnote to my entries. I include the time that a transit will be exact so that you can see when it waxes and then when it starts to wane. However, the effects are often felt sometimes even as long as a day or two (or longer). The energy is usually felt more strongly during the time leading up to the height and then it slowly starts to dissipate after. Keep in mind that Moon transits tend to last a shorter period of time than planetary transits.

(Sunday 3/27/11)- Today will consist of mainly Moon transits. Keep in mind that Lunar transits are shorter in duration than planetary transits. The only exception is when Venus drifts into dreamy Pisces overnight. Just after midnight, the Moon in Capricorn will form an uncomfortable square with Jupiter in Aries (exact at 12:01am EST). Someone could challenge your beliefs at this time. It’s possible that you could find out someone within your group has been acting behind your back or is at odds with the greater good. Dealings with groups of people or legal matters are unfavorable around this time. Then, the Moon in Capricorn will form an uncomfortable square with Saturn (R) in Libra (exact at 1:04am EST). Luckily the duration of this event is short. Sometimes this can give us a feeling of loneliness or isolation. We may feel passed over or possibly not getting the recognition that we deserve. It is better to work on organization around this time. The beautiful planet of Venus (ruling over love, beauty, romance, and finances) will transition into dreamy Pisces (exact at 2:53am EST). Words and phrases to describe Pisces are: “I Believe!”, dreamy, idealistic, caring, sympathetic, creative, artistic, tender, sensitive, drifter, psychic, impressionable, escapism, and charitable. Neptune is the ruling planet and it’s associated with feet, veins, fluids, lymphatic system, & glands. Stones: Jade, Coral, Aquamarine, Bloodstone, Rock Crystal, and Sapphire. As far as love is concerned, we are moving away from a time of being friendship oriented and somewhat impersonal (Aquarius) to a time of being romantic and idealistic (Pisces). If you are single this is a time where you may find yourself drawn to a person that is artistic and romantic, but maybe a little bit of a drifter. If you get an invitation to go to an art gallery show or music event…say yes! If you are in a relationship, try to rekindle the romance and have a date-night! Maybe write your partner a poem or paint them a picture?!? This is certainly a great time to tap into your inner creativity in general. Venus also rules over finances..and well, Pisces’ unfortunately are not known for their financial discipline. Notice I didn’t say that they weren’t good with math? Albert Einstein was a very famous Piscean. He obviously excelled at abstract theories and that is a Piscean gift…. innate understanding of the intangible. They tend to (at least somewhat) live on an ethereal level. Venus will stay in this sign until 4/21/11 when it moves into Aries.

In the evening, the Moon in Capricorn forms an uncomfortable square with Mercury in Aries (exact at 7:00pm EST) possibly causing miscommunications. You may find that you are not able to express yourself as easily or someone may cut you off from saying something. Lastly, the Moon in Capricorn will form a positive sextile with Mars in Pisces (exact at 11:17pm EST). As with all Mars transits, I recommend doing something physical or exercising around this time (the energy will need a constructive outlet). Sexuality can be enhanced around this transit. Our feelings will be in alignment with how we act. Make sure to put your actions toward positive pursuits! This will also start a 7+ hour void-of-course Moon cycle that will last until the Moon transitions into unique Aquarius tomorrow. When the Moon makes no major planetary aspects to another planet, before it switches into the next sign, is call “void of course”. It is best to not do anything new during these times because it has a decreased chance of working or will have delays.

(Monday 3/28/11)- In the early morning, the Moon will transition into Aquarius (exact at 7:00am EST). Activities that are favored during Moon in Aquarius are: social endeavors, friendship, technology, humanitarian efforts, politics, inventing, and New Age ideologies. Things to avoid: are getting too caught up in the greater good and masses that you forget the individual & their feelings, and being overly fixed in your own unique way of doing things that you can’t consider someone else’s good ideas. endeavors, creativity, and be in the company of loved ones. Then, the Sun in Aries will form an uncomfortable square with transformative Pluto in Capricorn (exact at 8:13am EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. Power, power, power…did I say power? This one will draw power struggles to us like a magnet. If someone wants to fight, don’t bite…just walk away. They can’t fight with themselves! I would avoid heavy discussions, confrontations, especially if you know things could get heated. It may be hard to balance relationship and work obligations. There may be a boss (or someone in authority) that is making things difficult right now. Just remember, fair play is what is important. There is a way to diplomatically explain things without cutting to the bone. Then, the Moon in Aquarius will form a positive sextile with Uranus in Aries (exact at 8:50am EST) helping us to break out of our rut and even do something that may be somewhat unconventional. Technology (like computers), inventing, New Aged ideologies, and friendships are favored around this transit.

In the evening, Jupiter in Aries will form a stressful opposition with Saturn (R) in Libra (exact at 5:55pm EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. These are the two giants of our solar system, and they aren’t on the same page right now. This is also a big planetary event that is tying into the larger “Cardinal Climax”, which also involves the Saturn/Uranus opposition and the Saturn/Pluto square. The height of this event will occur three times: 5/23/10, 8/16/10, and March 29th 2011. This cycle occurs every 20 years. The last time this event occurred was 1989-1991 (it actually came to exactitude 5 times during that period). Expansion and contraction! Optimism and pessimism! Radical and traditional! Feel like you are being pulled in two directions? You are not alone! Jupiter is optimism and the future and Saturn is the past, foundations, & long term goals. I think that the tearing down of the Berlin Wall was a great example of what can occur during this phase. We may hear about issues pertaining to banking/finance, housing/construction, foreign affairs/policies, justice/law, teaching and education around this time (more than the usual). Like the last time this event took place and the student democratic revolution in China occurred resulting in the Tiananmen Square killings. It will be very difficult to do goal setting right now or to have forward motion. Use positive thinking and keep a smile on your face if a few speed bumps appear right now. Any delays may be fortuitous. This opposition will bring about change. If you are the type of person that is flexible and rolls with changes, then this period won’t be as traumatic as it would be if you have the opposite personality traits. Keep your sights set on the large picture (Jupiter) but Saturn will remind you not to forget the details either. We will be working toward BALANCE…especially as we experience this opposition in for the 3rd and final time during this cycle. Lastly, the Moon in Aquarius will positively sextile the Sun in Aries (exact at 10:52pm EST). This is an ideal time to be with friends & loved ones. This transit is conducive for feeling supported. Maybe it’s time to do something nice for your sweetheart?

(Tuesday 3/29/11)- I will be doing Astrological Readings at Spirit Dancer today between 3-6pm (I take my last reading at 5:30pm). *Please note the time change* This is a great opportunity to get an introductory reading from me at a discount-$30 ½ hr. They are located at 125 S. Winooski Ave in Burlington, VT (across from the fire station). Walk-ins are welcome or you can call me for a time. The store’s number is 802-660-8060.

In the late morning, the Moon in Aquarius will make a flowing trine to Saturn (R) in Libra (exact at 11:12am EST). This is a great time for organization, house cleaning, filing, recycling, and being disciplined. This is also beneficial for starting a diet or health regimen (like quitting smoking). Sometimes others will ask for help around this transit, but it won’t be burdensome, we will be happy to assist! Just after, the Moon in Aquarius makes a positive sextile with Jupiter in Aries (exact at 11:40am EST) helping us to feel optimistic and/or lucky. This is an ideal time to be with friends or to work with a group of people. It is also beneficial for spirituality/religion, higher or continuing education, horses, law/legal matters, advertising, sales, and publishing.

In the evening, Venus in Pisces will form a stressful opposition with Chiron in Pisces (exact at 7:15pm EST). Remember, all of these are planetary transits and their effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. This could bring up past pains & past loves. Use this time to heal old wounds. This will be beneficial for artistic endeavors (especially if you have strayed from doing them for a while).

(Wednesday 3/30/11)- Early in the day, the Moon in Aquarius will form a positive sextile to Mercury in Pisces (exact at 7:16am EST). This will make us want to reach out to friends and family to chat. This transit helps with the flow of communication. It will be easier to express how we feel around this transit.

Mercury in Aries goes Retrograde (exact at 4:48pm EST). Mercury (The God of Communication & Transportation) goes Retrograde for 3 weeks, 3 times per year. In 2011 the cycle will occur in all of the Fire Signs…Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius. (Retrograde meaning: As all planets orbit around one another, they do so at different rates. Long ago Astronomers/Astrologers believed that the planets seemed to slow down and eventually reverse their orbit. This in fact, is an optical illusion caused by different orbit speeds, when viewed from Earth. This process is called a Retrograde in Astrology. In interpretation it means that the planet is somewhat weakened and the energies are harder to access.) We all feel the effects of this influence, but you will feel it more strongly if you are a Mercury-ruled person (Gemini & Virgo), if you have strong Aries or Libra (by opposition) placements in your chart, or if Mercury was Retrograde when you were born. Astrologically, this causes small things to happen that may be considered to be "bumps in the road". Mercury heavily influences technology (how we stay connected to others). So an example of this could be computers crashing, copiers breaking down or jamming, faxes not transmitting, etc. Communication is another thing affected by Mercury Retrograde. It's a good idea during this time to save fax transmittal sheets, postal receipts, and documenting important conversations. Delays with travel can also occur because of miscommunications or breaking down of equipment. Make sure you confirm all reservations and allow extra travel time. This is not a good time to start anything new or to sign contracts (like getting a loan, buying a house, buying a car, etc). This is a good time to strategize and do your homework on projects that you may be planning. On the up side (yes, there is an upside) this is an excellent time for the following: re-uniting, re-organizing, re-connecting, re-establishing, re-arranging, re-financing, re-negotiating, etc. Are you noticing a pattern? I personally, look to these 3 weeks as a good time to get filling done, finishing up tasks that I have been putting off, tightening up details, etc. I look forward to this time because it's excellent for re-connecting with people in general. This seems to be a time when people you haven't heard from just call "out of the blue" or you may "randomly" run into someone while out shopping. You can see that in business, this would be an excellent time to follow-up with past customers or clients. Just remember, if you are in a relationship, try to be understanding with your lover if you have a miscommunication.......these things will happen with Mercury Retrograde, it's not the end of the world! Sometimes old flames will try to come back during this time. Which is fine; just remember an ex is an ex for a reason! While Mercury is in Aries, the emphasis will be on leadership, managing, independence, motivation, anger-issues, and speaking up too quickly. See Blog entry from 3/9/11 to read more about Mercury in Aries. We can all look forward to Mercury going "Direct" again on Saturday April 23rd at 6:04am EST.

Then, the Moon makes its monthly conjunction with Neptune both in Aquarius (exact at 6:21pm EST) causing our imagination/creativity to soar. This transit is also beneficial for daydreaming, idealism, intuition, romance, music, poetry, abstract ideas, mysticism, etc. It is possible to be more charming (or to meet charming people) around this transit. Because idealism & escapism can be enhanced with this transit, I wouldn’t make a big decisions or sign contracts around this time. This will also start a very short void-of-course Moon cycle that will last until the Moon transitions into dreamy Pisces (exact at 6:38pm EST). Activities that are favored during Moon in Pisces: creativity, intuition, spiritual aspirations, higher consciousness, connection with feelings, counseling, music, art, photography, nature and especially being near water, and charitable work. Things to avoid are: getting so caught up in others feeling that you put your aside, excessive escapism, and acting like a martyr. These are all themes that will last the next 2 ½ days. Lastly, Jupiter in Aries will form a slightly annoying semisquare with Neptune both in Aquarius (exact at 8:41pm EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. This is a favorable time to explore different cultures and religions. We would do well working with a group for a greater cause that is bigger than ourselves. This transit is about self-sacrifice and service to others. Use caution with putting friends or an organization up on a pedestal. You know what happens when they fall!? The late, great astrologer Linda Goodman used to say: “Aim straight, shoot higher than man can see-past the stars-to the place all dreams were really born”.

(Thursday 3/31/11)- “Eve of Fools” Event for the Lund Family Center. I will be doing mini-Astrology readings at this fundraising event from 7-9pm for Vermont’s oldest and largest private non-profit adoption agency. http://lundfamilycenter.org/eveoffools.html

Overnight, the Moon forms its monthly conjunction with Chiron both in Pisces (exact at 1:18am EST). You may be presented with an opportunity to heal or to be healed. Holistic and alternative medicine is especially favored. Serendipitous moments abound! Then, the Moon will conjunct Venus both in Pisces (exact at 4:29am EST). We will want to experience love on a visceral level. This is a great time to: pamper ourselves, decorate, shop (because we will have an “eye” for things that look good), artistic Sometimes this transit can have us feeling a little indolent; it is actually a favored time for finances. Next, the Moon in Pisces will form a positive sextile with Pluto Capricorn (exact at 9:44am) helping us to connect with what is going on under the surface. During this time it would be beneficial for: cathartic experiences, deep conversations, and all forms of counseling are favored during this transit. This will also start a very LONG void-of-course Moon cycle that will last until the Moon transitions into pioneering Aries on Friday. This is an unusually long void-of-course cycle!

Lastly, the Moon in Pisces will form an annoying quincunx with Saturn (R) in Libra (exact at 8:00pm EST). It may be hard to complete everything on our “list” or to get organized. It’s also possible that our emotions could make it hard to work around this time. Luckily, this influence will be short…

(Friday 4/1/11)- April Fool’s Day! It is the ability to take a joke, not make one, that proves you have a sense of humor.” ~Max Eastman

This is no joke! There are no astrological transits today. This day will be under the influence of the Pisces Moon. The Moon is also in an unusually long void-of-course cycle until tomorrow. This day may have a dreamy quality. You may find yourself looking at the clock often only to realize that 5 minutes went by…

(Saturday 4/2/11)- Mars (the God of War) will transition into adventurous Aries (exact at 12:51am EST). Mars influences our actions, expression of anger, aggression, ego (both in and out of power), energy, courage, confidence, self-reliance, boldness, violence, destructiveness, cruelty, and often dictates the type of person that we will be sexually attracted to. Its medical associations are: red blood cells, tolerance for pain, muscular energy, inflammation, and fevers. Mars is like our engine…it makes us go, go, go! Aries is the 1st sign of the zodiac and is ruled by Mars (the God of War). Some words/ phrases to describe Aries are: “I AM!”, Cardinal/Fire, passionate, head strong, adventurous, honest (often blunt), independent, enthusiastic, dynamic, selfish, courageous, energetic, enthusiastic, and easily bored. It rules over the head, face (not the nose), brain, eyes, upper jaw, fevers & inflammation. The metal is Iron. Stones: Amethyst, Diamond, and Bloodstone. There are now 5 planets in the sign of Aries and shortly the Moon will be entering this sign also. When it comes to our actions, we are moving away from a time of dreamy idealism (Pisces) and into a time of self-starting energy (Aries). Aries is known for being able to start many things, but isn’t great at finishing. Try to exorcise patience (it will be hard). There will be a strong desire to start new projects (just remember that Mercury is Retrograde right now)! People will be straightforward and direct around this time (maybe even a little blunt). This would be a great time to put a fresh spin on an old, outdated method. You may find people being a little too demanding and bossy right now (“take no prisoners”!). We may find ourselves moving a little faster (literally), so careful with speeding and fast moving vehicles. If you have been reading my Blog, you will know that Mars energy needs to get out one way or another. This may be why Aries tend to be athletic and have trouble sitting still. I won’t sugar coat this; a bored or unhappy Aries can be quite grumpy. This would be a great time to start a new exercise regime, start physical therapy, or buy a piece of exercise equipment. Make sure you invest in a good protective helmet (remember Aries rules the head area). Over the next two months, we may be more: adventurous, competitive, gallant, physical, and daring. On the down-side, Aries are known for their tempers! We could hear of an increase in fires, explosions, acts of aggression (either coming from or towards) leadership, war, or even possible attacks on US soil. Just look at what happened when Uranus entered Aries on March 11th…the day of Japan’s earthquake and nuclear crisis. This is a very passionate (Fire) sign and sometimes it can bring out unhealthy forms of passion and intensity. Mars will be in this sign until 5/11 when it transitions into stable Taurus!

A few hours later, the Moon transitions into pioneering Aries. Aries Moons are similar to New Moons (actually the New Moon will be in Aries tomorrow!). It is considered to be a favorable time to start new projects, physical activities (like sports or working out), dynamism, leadership, competition, and action. Things to avoid are being too bossy, arrogant, and insensitive during the next 2 1/2 days. Aries rules the head, so pay attention to stress; especially of you are prone to tension headaches. Just after, the Moon will form its monthly conjunction with Mars both in Aries (exact at 7:43am EST). As with most Mars transits, I usually will recommend some form of physical exercise (yes, that includes gardening, working on the car, housework, etc.). This can increase physical vitality & health (and passion too). It is important to properly channel the excess energy; otherwise arguments and nitpicking could result. Then, Venus in Pisces will form a positive sextile with powerful Pluto in Capricorn (exact at 8:30am EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. This is power in love, pure and simple. This transit will actually be beneficial with both love and finances. If the energies are harnessed properly, there could be true transformation in these areas. The only caveat is possibly obsessing (or being too intense) about love/sex/finances. As Pluto, even when positively aspected, is still prone to having a dark side. Next, the Moon will form its monthly conjunction with Uranus both in Aries (exact at 9:45am EST). The Uranus connection can bring us unexpected inspiration/ideas & can enhance clairvoyance & channeling. This can highlight technology, electricity, inventing, and unexpected events.

Later, the Moon in Aries will square intense Pluto in Capricorn (exact at 10:46pm EST) possibly throwing a speed bump in our path. Someone could know how to push our buttons and really get under our skin. It is important to have good boundaries with others and remember not to overstep yours.

Mark your calendars! Next week: New Moon on Monday 4/3, Neptune moves into Pisces on 4/4, Pluto turns Retrograde on Sat 4/9.

The above transits are often felt collectively but you would need to know where within your chart that they would fall. As always, I am available for a professional astrological reading. I now have a variety of charts to choose from (relationship, life path, time-line, etc). I can do readings in-person, via Skype, FaceTime on the Iphone, or over the phone. Or if you’re not into having a reading I can just supply a chart. Please feel free to contact me for more information! Have a great week! Bye for now……

Astro-Update! Sun into Aries! Spring Equinox! Week of 3/20/11

Happy Spring!! Did you ever feel like the energy in your home is stagnant? Some of you may or may not know that I have had an interest in energetic-space clearing of homes and businesses (and have been performing Space Clearings for some time now). I have also been studying Feng Shui for the last few years, I am a Reiki Master, and an Ordained Minister & Spiritual Healer. I will come to your home or business and perform a ritual/blessing to clear away the negative energy. I try to schedule it during a time that is in alignment with beneficial planetary aspects/lunar phases. I am adding this as an additional service that I can offer to my Vermont clients and my rate is $60 per hour (the time depends on the size of the structure). There may be an additional fee for travel time depending on your location. Feel free to call or email me with questions! ~Namaste!

Saturn Retrograde in Libra 1/26/11-6/12/11

Coming up: Mercury goes Retrograde in Aries 3/30-4/23

I wanted to add a footnote to my entries. I include the time that a transit will be exact so that you can see when it waxes and then when it starts to wane. However, the effects are often felt sometimes even as long as a day or two (or longer). The energy is usually felt more strongly during the time leading up to the height and then it slowly starts to dissipate after. Keep in mind that Moon transits tend to last a shorter period of time than planetary transits.

(Sunday 3/20/11)- Spring Equinox & International Astrology Day!

The Moon in Libra will square intense Pluto in Capricorn (exact at 3:37am EST) possibly throwing a speed bump in our path. Someone could know how to push our buttons and really get under our skin. It is important to have good boundaries with others and remember not to overstep yours. Then, Mercury in Aries will form a slightly uncomfortable semisquare with the “Wounded Healer” Chiron in Pisces (exact at 7:01am EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. Past memories may come flooding in around this time. Reminiscing? Forgiveness (or the need to forgive) often accompanies this transit. This can increase sensitivity, so please choose your words carefully. Next, the Moon in Libra makes a stressful opposition with Jupiter in Aries (exact at 11:22am EST). Sometimes this can zap our self-confidence. Conversely, we could also feel a little too confident and over state our abilities (possibly over promising). Just remember you won’t always feel this way and there are only so many hours in a day….it is OK to say no!

In the afternoon, the Moon forms its monthly conjunction with Saturn (R) both in Libra (exact at 3:27pm EST). This is an all work no play transit. Best to concentrate on: work, organization, BALANCE, joint enterprises, goal setting, and details. This would also be an ideal time to start a new health or exercise regime. Build foundations in relationships. Sometimes this can give us a feeling of loneliness or isolation (or even the blues). Then, Venus in Aquarius will form a slightly uncomfortable semisquare with powerful Pluto in Capricorn (exact at 6:50pm EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. This one could bring love/passion up close and personal. It could take the form of sexual tension, teasing in the form of flirtation (remember those school days?), jealousy (an unhealthy form of passion), etc. Pluto brings intensity and there is a possibly of obsessing (or being too intense) about love/finances. We may be able to look below the surface and discover things about ourselves, others, or even our finances that we may have over-looked or not noticed previously. If the energies are harnessed properly, there could be true transformation in these areas. The Spring Equinox officially starts when the Sun travels into the 1st sign of the zodiac, Aries (exact at 7:21pm EST). Many cultures and religions celebrate the spring equinox in a variety of different ways. The key word for this time of year is AWKENING! It’s interesting to me that we instinctively start to spring clean during this time. Using some principles of feng shui, this is an excellent to time remove dead energy from your space. This includes: cleaning closets, getting rid of clutter, making sure that corners are free from debris, and getting rid of dead & dried flowers. Treat yourself to fresh flowers, bulbs and seeds. This is a great time to start clearing leaves & branches from your garden or yard. Burn red or white candles in your home (Aries colors). Use fragrances like: lavender, lilac, lily of the valley, geranium, ginger and honey suckle. When preparing meals concentrate on fresh vegetables, leafy greens, seeds, and sprouts. The Chinese consider the rabbit to represent the spring equinox, fertility, and the beginning of a new life cycle. Adding a small rabbit figurine to an area of your house (like bedroom if you want to get pregnant, or a home office if you would like to bring change to your business, etc) would be beneficial. Lastly, I usually have a smudging ceremony (by burning white sage) in my home, where I open all the doors and windows and I send out prayers to humanity. All of these things will increase your energy and help to clear mental “clutter”. Happy Spring!

So getting back to Aries…This is a pioneering sign and is associated with courageous spirits and new beginnings. Aries people are great at starting things but not so good at finishing nor taking care of small details. We are moving away from the past month spent being lost in watery emotions (Pisces) and are entering a time that will be faced with straight forward honesty. You see, an Aries will tell you like they see it…whether you like that or not. Aries is the 1st sign of the zodiac and is ruled by Mars (the God of War). If you have been reading my Blog, you will know that Mars energy needs to get out one way or another. This may be why Aries’ tend to be athletic and have trouble sitting still. I won’t sugar coat this; a bored or unhappy Aries can be quite grumpy. They are known for their quick tempers. If you reference the list of famous Aries below; there are some difficult personalities. On the positive side over the next month, we may be more: adventurous, competitive, gallant, physical, and daring. Much like Leo, an Aries hates to see someone or something (that they consider to be weaker than themselves) get hurt. Often Aries will rush in and try to “save” the situation by being the hero or heroine. They are natural leaders and when they handle that responsibility with pride and grace (not dictatorship) they can really accomplish something positive. It depends where the Sun/Aries falls within your chart in order to know how this will affect you on a personal level. There are now 4 planets in Aries: the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, and Uranus. Famous Aries are: Linda Goodman (famous Astrologer), Betty Davis, Alec Baldwin, Eddie Murphy, Mariah Carey, Jackie Chan, Russell Crowe, Shannen Doherty, Rosie O’Donnell, Robert Downey Jr., Joan Crawford, Tom Clancy, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Thomas Jefferson, Ashley Judd, Lucy Lawless, Elton John, Conan O'Brien, Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, William Shatner, Robin Wright Penn, Gary Oldman, Gloria Steinem, Hugh Hefner, Vincent Van Gogh, Kate Husdon, David Letterman, Christopher Walken, Quentin Tarantino, Norah Jones, Maya Angelou, Leonardo DaVinci, and Billie Holiday.

Lastly, the Moon in Libra making its monthly opposition with Mercury in Aries (exact at 8:47pm EST). You may find that you are not able to express yourself as easily or someone may cut you off from saying something. It will be hard to put your thoughts into words. This is a time where someone may oppose your thoughts or feelings. The key is to integrate the two (thoughts & emotions), although it may not be easy.

(Monday 3/21/11)- Today will be an astrologically busy Lunar day. The one exception being the Sun’s conjunction with Uranus. As I stated when Uranus moved into Aries back on 3/11 (see that Blog entry for more details), time to expect the unexpected. With all of the current unrest that is occurring in the world at this time….this transit makes me a little nervous. One of the “visions’ that I had of this time-frame was of explosions. I held back from stating that previously because I don’t want to be known for being a doom & gloom astrologer. It seems however to be a prophetic vision. Things will also pick up in intensity after the Moon transitions into Scorpio.

Just after midnight, the Moon in Libra makes an annoying quincunx to Mars in Pisces (exact at 12:20am EST). Did you ever meet someone that says something that is completely different than how they actually act? For instance: you went out on a date, the person says that they had a fantastic time, and then they never called you? This type of disconnect (coming from yourself or coming from others) may be more pronounced around this time. Then, the Moon in Libra forms a flowing trine with Venus in Aquarius (exact at 3:54am EST). You could find your thoughts with friends or loved ones. It is possible to receive a compliment on how you look. Love, beauty, art, creativity, and aesthetics will be favored (and because of this reason, shopping too). Pamper yourself! Then, the Sun will conjunct Uranus in Aries (exact at 8:24am EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. We will feel the need to break out of our normal routines and do something different toady. Uranus is the planet of disruptions, surprises and unexpected events. People with anxiety, nervous conditions, palpitations or other conditions affecting the electrical system of the body may have trouble around this transit. We may be drawn to the avant-garde or unusual around this time. Are you normally a rebel and buck against authority? This transit helps to make that easier; so that you won’t step on as many toes. If not, do something “crazy” that you normally wouldn’t do for yourself…..you have blessings from the planets!

In the afternoon, the Moon in Libra will form a flowing trine to Neptune in Aquarius (exact at 2:35pm EST) causing our imagination/creativity to soar. This transit is also beneficial for daydreaming, idealism, intuition, romance, music, poetry, abstract ideas, mysticism, etc. It is possible to be more charming (or to meet charming people) around this transit. (I wouldn’t make a big decision around this time). This will also be the beginning of a short void of course cycle that will last until the Moon transitions into passionate Scorpio Moon. When the Moon makes no major planetary aspects to another planet, before it switches into the next sign, is call “void of course”. It is best to not do anything new during these times because it has a decreased chance of working or will have delays. The Moon will transition into intense Scorpio (exact at 4:29am EST). Favorable Scorpio Moon activities are: anything related to research, occult, detective work, self-discovery, digging below the surface (both figural & literal), passion, mysteries, secrets, etc. Things that are not favored or exacerbated during the Moon in Scorpio are: jealousy, anger, intensity, and surgery (it can delay healing time). These will be themes over the next 2 ½ days. Next, the Moon in Scorpio forms an annoying quincunx with Uranus in Aries (exact at 4:10pm EST). This is a time where someone around you may challenge tradition. You may also want to buck the system. An unexpected event or surprise could catch you off-guard. The Moon in Scorpio will form an annoying quincunx with the Sun in Aries (exact at 4:42pm EST). It may be hard to feel supported around this time. Accomplishments may go unrecognized. It is possible to clash with someone younger than yourself (like a parent child relationship). Lastly, the Moon in Scorpio will form a flowing trine with Chiron (the “Wounded Healer”) in Pisces (exact at 7:41pm EST). You may be presented with an opportunity to heal or to be healed. Holistic and alternative medicine is especially favored. Serendipitous moments abound!

(Tuesday 3/22/11)- I will be doing Astrological Readings at Spirit Dancer today between 3-6pm **Please note the time change** (I take my last reading at 5:30pm). This is a great opportunity to get an introductory reading from me at a discount-$30 ½ hr. They are located at 125 S. Winooski Ave in Burlington, VT (across from the fire station). Walk-ins are welcome or you can call me for a time. The store’s number is 802-660-8060.

Today there will be 2 Moon transits. Keep in mind that Lunar transits are shorter in duration than planetary transits. Overnight, the Moon in Scorpio will make a supportive sextile to Pluto in Capricorn (exact at 3:14am EST). This will be a favorable time to look below the surface and have in-depth conversations or counseling. This is a time that we could be feeling passionate or intense. This transit will amplify the Scorpio Lunar traits.

In the afternoon, the Moon in Scorpio will quincunx Jupiter in Aries (exact at 12:05pm EST). This is a time where you could feel disconnected from the group. Someone could challenge your beliefs around this time. Our optimism or self-confidence may be a little low. This is not a time to rely on luck. Don’t worry, this will be temporary! The remainder of the day will be under the influence of the Scorpio Moon…

The remainder of the week is currently under construction, so please check back!!

The above transits are often felt collectively but you would need to know where within your chart that they would fall. As always, I am available for a professional astrological reading. I now have a variety of charts to choose from (relationship, life path, time-line, etc). I can do readings in-person, over the phone, or via Skype. Or if you’re not into having a reading, I can just supply a chart. Please feel free to contact me for more information! Have a great week! Bye for now……

Astro-Update! Full "Super" Moon in Virgo! Week of 3/13/2011

How is everyone doing with the merging of Uranus into Aries? If you didn’t have a chance, please read last Fridays Blog entry for the details. Many people are wondering if that event caused the big earthquake in Japan. It is true that Uranus represents shake-ups (literally in this case), unexpected events, and is the natural “ruler” of Uranium in Astrology. However, when it went into Aries the last time (1928) there wasn’t a massive earthquake. Uranus does represent a wild card, so really anything can go when you talk about this planet. Also you may have heard of “Super” Moons that have been getting a lot of press recently. This is when the Moon is both at its closest point to the earth and it either a New or Full Moon. The Moon’s gravitational pull is very strong now and that can have an effect on tectonic plates. Lastly, there is an increase in solar storms currently. There were two big ones in February. In fact, we will be at the peak of an 11 year sunspot cycle in 2012. Solar storms effect electromagnetic fields and our technology (like cell phones, computers, radio towers, etc). This is not my area of expertise, but there are a lot of folks out there (including myself) that tend to be sensitive to this type of energy. I am trying to locate a really interesting article that I read once about the link between the increase in solar flares having a direct effect on the increase of wars on this planet. This makes sense to me, since the Sun is archetypally male-yang energy. I tried to Google it, but all I came up with was a lot of 2012 doomsday predictions (blah). Whatever the cause of this devastating event in Japan, it has happened. What to do from here? Prayer, Reiki, visualization, etc. Sending money to reputable organizations doesn’t hurt either. We need all the Lightworkers on this planet to send as much healing to the nuclear reactors as possible (and the courageous people that are working to remedy the situation). I am hoping that the rest of the world will learn from this horrible situation! ~Namaste

Coming up: Mercury goes Retrograde in Aries 3/30-4/23

I wanted to add a footnote to my entries. I include the time that a transit will be exact so that you can see when it waxes and then when it starts to wane. However, the effects are often felt sometimes even as long as a day or two. The energy is usually felt more strongly during the time leading up to the height and then it slowly starts to dissipate after. Keep in mind that Moon transits tend to last a shorter period of time than planetary transits.

(Sunday 3/13/11)- Daylight Savings Time! Set your clocks ahead! In the morning, the Moon in Gemini will form a flowing trine to Neptune in Aquarius (exact at 9:10am EST) causing our imagination/creativity to soar. This transit is also beneficial for daydreaming, idealism, intuition, romance, music, poetry, abstract ideas, mysticism, etc. It is possible to be more charming (or to meet charming people) around this transit. (I wouldn’t make a big decision around this time). This will begin a 1+ hour void-of-course Moon cycle that will last until the Moon transitions into domestic Cancer. When the Moon makes no major planetary aspects to another planet, before it switches into the next sign, is call “void of course”. It is best to not do anything new during these times because it has a decreased chance of working or will have delays. Next, the Moon transitions into domestic Cancer (exact at 10:29am EST). Good Cancer Moon activities are: anything to do with home and family, cooking, maternal/mothering, being emotional, crafts, sensitivity, empathy, finances, savings, and care-taking. Things to avoid are: holding grudges, feeling slighted (possibly with little or no cause), over sensitivity, emotional eating, stubbornness, and being grumpy. Just after, the Moon in Cancer uncomfortably squares Uranus in Aries (exact at 10:39am EST). This is a time where someone around you may challenge tradition. You may also want to buck the system. An unexpected event or surprise could catch you off-guard. It is possible to experience issues with technology or mechanical issues.

In the afternoon, Mercury in Aries will form an uncomfortable square with intense Pluto in Capricorn (exact at 1:32pm EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. It may be harder to access deeper thoughts around this time. This is actually a better time for superficial activities. Keep things light! Not a good time to do research or to “dig below the surface”. Another scenario is that outside influences could affect you and you may need to change how you think about a situation. Adjustment (on your part) may be needed to come out on the winning end. Verbal sparring or debates could end in disastrous results. Others won’t want to back down right now. Just go with the flow right now. Then, the Moon in Cancer will form a flowing trine with (the “Wounded Healer”) Chiron in Pisces (exact at 2:35pm EST). You may be presented with an opportunity to heal or to be healed. Holistic and alternative medicine is especially favored. Serendipitous moments abound! Later, the Moon in Cancer will form its monthly opposition to Pluto in Capricorn (exact at 11:50pm EST). This can signify a period of intensity. Someone could challenge you in an area where you are sensitive. Another possibility is that you may spend too much time analyzing instead of acting. Avoid underhanded tactics because someone will be more apt to notice.

(Monday 3/14/11)- Today will be an extremely active astrological day; with 5 Moon transits and 3 planetary transits. This is a good time to remind you that Lunar transits are shorter in duration than planetary transits. Overnight, the Moon in Cancer forms an uncomfortable square with Mercury in Aries (exact at 1:22am EST) possibly causing miscommunications. You may find that you are not able to express yourself as easily or someone may cut you off from saying something. Next, the Moon in Cancer will form an uncomfortable square with Jupiter in Aries (exact at 6:13am EST). Someone could challenge your beliefs at this time. It’s possible that you could find out someone within your group has been acting behind your back or is at odds with the greater good. Dealings with groups of people or legal matters are unfavorable around this time. Then, Mars in Pisces will form an annoying quincunx with Saturn (R) in Libra (exact at 9:54am EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. Mars wants to go, go, go and Saturn’s approach is slow & steady. These planets don’t have the same energy, and that is the problem. The result will be action vs. plan. Mars gives us the instinct to rush ahead but Saturn puts on the proverbial brakes. Certainly use caution while traveling or driving. If the Universe throws you speed bumps around this time, try not to react with anger and simply handle it with grace.

In the afternoon, the Moon in Cancer will form an annoying quincunx with Venus in Aquarius (exact at 1:29pm EST) possibly causing a monkey wrench in the love department. It could be that the object of our affections is somewhat inaccessible around time…. unfortunately the same could be true with our finances too! Double-check your bank account before making a big purchase. The Moon will go onto highlight the Mars/Saturn quincunx when the Moon in Cancer will form an uncomfortable square with Saturn (R) in Libra (exact at 2:14pm EST). Luckily the duration of this event is short. Sometimes this can give us a feeling of loneliness or isolation. We may feel passed over or possibly not getting the recognition that we deserve. It is better to work on organization around this time. Just after, the Moon in Cancer forms a flowing trine with Mars in Pisces (exact at 2:32pm EST). Our actions will be in harmony with how we feel. We may crave action around this time or have more energy. People will be inclined to fight for what they believe is right. Next, Venus in Aquarius will form an uncomfortable semisquare with Uranus in Aries (exact at 5:16pm EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. Looking for your muse? The inspiration that you have been looking for may come around this time. However, you will most likely experience tension or nervousness instead of feeling comfortable (that is what this transit is about, to push you out of your box). Nervous energy? Time to go with the flow! This is a good time to “surprise” you romantic partner with a nice gesture. Lastly, Venus in Aquarius will form a flowing trine with Saturn (R) in Libra (exact at 9:34pm EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. Discipline and organization are required. This transit will be permeated by seriousness. This probably won’t be a time of busy social activities. But the invites that you do get, will most likely be from your oldest and dearest friends. If you are willing to put in the hard work around this time, you have the will to accomplish a lot! Any delays that are experienced will be for the better (but you might not feel that way at the time). This is an auspicious time for finances, business endeavors, strategizing, etc. This may be a good time to sit down with the boss (or with someone with authority over you) to hammer out long-term goals. They will appreciate your proactive attitude, which may benefit you financially. It is best to acquiesce since folks are prone to digging in their heels. This is a beneficial time to make a deeper commitment in a relationship (love or business relationship). Work on building foundations!

(Tuesday 3/15/11)- I will be doing Astrological Readings at Spirit Dancer today between 3-6pm **Please note the time change** (I take my last reading at 5:30pm). This is a great opportunity to get an introductory reading from me at a discount-$30 ½ hr. They are located at 125 S. Winooski Ave in Burlington, VT (across from the fire station). Walk-ins are welcome or you can call me for a time. The store’s number is 802-660-8060.

In the morning, the Sun in Pisces will form a beautiful trine to the Moon in Cancer (exact at 6:05am EST). This is beneficial for all kinds of relationships (especially with children) and assists in making us feel loved and supported. This is also an ideal time to be close to pets or nature. Very pleasant indeed! This will begin a long 9+ void-of-course Moon cycle that will last until the Moon transitions into proud Leo later today.

In the afternoon, the Moon in Cancer forms an annoying quincunx with Neptune in Aquarius (exact at 2:27pm EST). Neptune’s influence can cause us to be fuzzy and idealistic. It is therefore, not an ideal time to make bold moves and big decisions. It is possible that we may have trouble accessing our intuition around this time. Then, the Moon transitions into proud Leo (exact 3:33pm EST). Good activities to do when the Moon is in Leo are: anything to do with performing or theater, seeing a show, dressing up & looking nice, managing, feeling proud, entrepreneurial endeavors, gambling, playing games, routing for the underdog and taking care of children. Things to avoid are being too bossy, acting egotistical, and going over the top. All of these themes will be highlighted over the next 2 ½ days. Just after, the Moon in Leo will form a flowing trine with Uranus in Aries (exact at 3:55pm EST) helping us to step up to the plate and do the right thing, even though it may be somewhat unconventional. We could get sudden revelations or ideas, so write them down! Technology (like computers), inventing, New Age ideologies, and friendships are favored around this transit. Then, the Moon in Leo forms an annoying quincunx with Chiron in Pisces (exact at 7:34pm EST). Past issues may resurface at this time. It may be hard to forgive & forget around this time. Remember that forgiveness gives you peace within yourself and is not necessarily for the other person. Lastly, Mercury will form its yearly conjunction with Jupiter in Aries (exact at 9:26pm EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. This may be a time that you are thinking of traveling or are in contact with people located a long distance away from you. This transit is beneficial for interest and/or dealings with other cultures, philosophy, higher education, continuing education, religion, and law or legal issues. We may be feeling expansive and wish to feed our intellect. This transit is ideal if you have wanted to learn a foreign language or to cook an exotic meal. Go ahead and be adventurous; now is the time!! The only caveat is that Jupiter might have us over-doing things. So avoid over-confidence, over-promising, over-stating, etc.

(Wednesday 3/16/11)- Overnight, the Moon in Leo will make an annoying quincunx with powerful Pluto in Capricorn (exact at 3:57am EST). Certainly this can bring up jealousy issues, power struggles, hidden fears, and obsessions. It is best to keep things a little superficial. This transit could cause frustrations on blending work and family time (especially if you have children). Then, the Moon in Leo makes a flowing trine with Jupiter in Aries (exact at 10:40am EST) helping us to feel optimistic and/or lucky. This is an ideal time to be with friends or to work with groups of people. It is also beneficial for spirituality/religion, higher education, horses, law/legal matters, advertising, sales, and publishing.

In the afternoon, the Moon in Leo makes a flowing trine to Mercury in Aries (exact at 12:40pm EST). This transit will assist us to express how we feel. It will be much easier to speak with friends and loved ones during this time. We may have an urge to be social around this transit and it is highly beneficial for all kinds of relationships. Next, the Moon in Leo will form a positive sextile to Saturn (R) in Libra (exact at 5:01pm EST). Time to tap into our inner discipline, goal setting, organization and attention to details. We may want to make long term plans in our close relationships. Then, the Moon in Leo makes an annoying quincunx to Mars in Pisces (exact at 8:25pm EST). Did you ever meet someone that says something that is completely different than how they actually act? For instance: you went out on a date, the person says that they had a fantastic time, and then they never called you? This type of disconnect (coming from yourself or coming from others) may be more pronounced around this time. Lastly, the Moon in Leo forms its monthly opposition to Venus in Aquarius (exact at 9:05pm EST). It’s not good to shop or decorate during this transit. Someone could offend your sense of good taste! Our feelings could be at odds with love relationships right now.

(Thursday 3/17/11)- St Patrick’s Day Celebrated.

When after the Winter alarmin',
The Spring steps in so charmin',
So fresh and arch
In the middle of March,
Wid her hand St. Patrick's arm on...
~Alfred Percival Graves

In the late morning, the Moon in Leo will form an annoying quincunx with the Sun in Pisces (exact at 11:36am EST). It may be hard to feel supported around this time. Accomplishments may go unrecognized. It is possible to clash with someone younger than yourself (like a parent child relationship).

In the afternoon, the Moon in Leo will form its monthly opposition with Neptune in Aquarius (exact at 3:58pm EST) causing our imagination/creativity to soar. I wouldn’t make a big decision around this time. Especially since this will also enhance escapism (people with drug or alcohol issues will have trouble around this transit). If you are sleeping while this event occurs, it may be possible to have prophetic or “visitation” dreams around this time. This will start a short 1 hour void-of-course Moon cycle that will last until the Moon transitions into perfectionist Virgo (exact at 4:53pm). Good Virgo Moon activities are: organization, being detail-oriented, service to others, health improvement, intellectual pursuits, practicality, research, and really anything that requires precision. Things to avoid are: being overly perfectionistic, excessive worry, analysis paralysis, criticism, and being too caught up in the details that we can’t see the forest through the trees. All of these themes will be prominent in the next 2 1/2 days. Then, the Moon in Virgo forms an annoying quincunx with Uranus in Aries (exact at 5:25pm EST). This is a time where someone around you may challenge tradition. You may also want to buck the system. An unexpected event or surprise could catch you off-guard. Next, the Moon in Virgo forms a stressful opposition with Chiron in Pisces (exact at 8:52pm EST). Past issues may resurface at this time. It may be possible to run into someone that will tell you how to do something (even if they have never done it themselves)….annoying! Lastly, Mercury in Aries forms an uncomfortable semisquare with Neptune in Aquarius (exact at 10:32pm EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. Be careful (especially) with business dealings around this transit. If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is! Review all fine print closely and if possible put off signing any contracts. We will want to idealize people/situations around this time. On the positive side: creativity, intuition, and imagination could be increased too.

(Friday 3/18/11)- In the early morning, the Moon in Virgo will form a flowing trine to Pluto in Capricorn (exact at 4:36am EST). This will greatly assist us in processing our emotions and is beneficial for all types of counseling & cathartic experiences. It will be hard to be superficial around this time. Both Virgo & Capricorn are earth signs, so this is a good time for gardening or connecting with nature. Then, Mercury in Aries forms its yearly opposition with Saturn (R) in Libra (exact at 9:55am EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. This will not be a good time for communication or travel. There may be delays or obstacles with both. It is possible to experience solidarity. Stick with the facts if you need to communicate. Don’t try to tackle too many things around this transit. A slow and steady approach is called for. Focus on one thing at a time, otherwise there is a good chance mistakes will be made or it will need to be done over anyway. It may be possible that we are slower than normal in learning something (people with learning disabilities may have trouble around this time). It’s possible someone in authority could squash your ideas, hinder you from expressing yourself, or needs to get the last word. Go ahead and let them, choose another day to win that battle. Next, the Moon in Virgo will quincunx Jupiter in Aries (exact at 11:43am EST). This is a time where you could feel disconnected from the group. Someone could challenge your beliefs around this time. Our optimism or self-confidence may be a little low. This is not a time to rely on luck. Don’t worry, this will be temporary!

In the evening, the Moon in Virgo will form an annoying quincunx to Mercury in Aries (exact at 5:30pm EST) possibly causing blocks in communication. It may be nearly impossible to express ourselves. You ever had a time that you couldn’t put your thoughts into words? Lastly, the Moon in Virgo will form its monthly opposition to Mars in Pisces (exact at 10:50pm EST). Someone could irritate you during this transit. It’s possible to enjoy a debate with someone (or at worst, an argument). As with all Mars transits, I recommend exercise or doing something physical. Mar’s energy will want to get out one way or another; it might as well be constructive!

(Saturday 3/19/11)- Today will consist of all Moon transits and a Full “super” Moon (see more details below). Keep in mind that Lunar transits are shorter in duration than planetary transits.

After midnight, the Moon in Virgo will form an annoying quincunx with Venus in Aquarius (exact at 12:56am EST) possibly causing a monkey wrench in the love department. It could be that the object of our affections is somewhat inaccessible around time…. unfortunately the same could be true with our finances too! Double-check your bank account before making a big purchase. In the afternoon, we will experience the height of the Full “Super” Moon in Virgo (exact at 2:10pm EST). “Super” Moons have been getting a lot of press lately. They occur when the Moon is at its closest position to the earth and it is either at its New or Full Moon phase. Of course, this can increase gravitational pull and can affect weather patterns and tectonic plates. While “Super” Moons aren’t unusual, we will be seeing 6 this year! They will occur on 2/18 (Full Moon), 3/19 (Full Moon), 4/17 (Full Moon), 9/27 (New Moon), 10/26 (New Moon), and 11/24 (New Moon)…so mark your calendars!

The Full Moon that takes place in March is often called the Full Worm Moon, the Crust Moon, the Lenten Moon, the Sugar Moon, or the Sap Moon. The height of the Full Moon is always signified by the opposition of the Sun (currently in Pisces). Do you have trouble balancing perfection with idealism? Do small details often get in the way of spontaneous creativity? Does your right brain and left brain often struggle for dominance? How often do you criticize others…or worse yet, yourself? Are you anywhere on your list of things to do? These questions/themes will be highlighted now. It depends where the Moon/Virgo & Sun/Pisces falls within your chart in order to know how this will affect you on a personal level. Full Moons astrologically are considered to be a time of culmination or endings. I personally like to take this time to meditate and send out prayers for family, friends, and humanity. The remainder of the day will be under the influence of the Virgo Moon. This will start a 2 hour void-of-course Moon cycle that will last until the Moon transitions into relationship-oriented Libra.

Then, the Moon in Virgo forms an annoying quincunx with Neptune in Aquarius (exact at 3:16pm EST). Neptune’s influence can cause us to be fuzzy and idealistic. It is therefore, not an ideal time to make bold moves and big decisions. It is possible that we may have trouble accessing our intuition around this time. The Moon will transition into diplomatic Libra (exact at 4:03pm EST). Activities that are favorable during a Libra Moon are: fairness, beauty (did I say beauty?), partnerships, joint enterprise, aesthetics, harmony, graciousness, cooperation, justice, peace, and romance. Things to avoid are: indecision, dependence, fickle, and lying (to avoid confrontation). Libras make great judges and counselors because they are often able to see both sides. Its physical associations are: the kidneys, lumbar area of the back, buttocks and adrenal glands. All of these themes will be accentuated during the next 2 ½ days. Next, the Moon in Libra will make its monthly opposition to Uranus in Aries (exact at 4:45pm EST). This is not an ideal time to break from the tried and true. Even with the best of intentions to stick with details & organization, an outside event may steer you in a different direction. Lastly, the Moon in Libra forms an annoying quincunx with Chiron in Pisces (exact at 8:09pm EST). Past issues may resurface at this time. It may be hard to forgive & forget around this time. Remember that forgiveness gives you peace within yourself and is not necessarily for the other person.

Mark your calendars! Tomorrow (Sunday 3/20) the Sun moves into Aries which is also known as the Spring Equinox!!

The above transits are often felt collectively but you would need to know where within your chart that they would fall. As always, I am available for a professional astrological reading. I now have a variety of charts to choose from (relationship, life path, time-line, etc). I can do readings in-person, Skype, or over the phone. Or if you’re not into having a reading I can just supply a chart. Please feel free to contact me for more information! Have a great week! Bye for now……
