Keep in mind while you read this Blog that I include the time
that a transit will be exact so that you can see when it waxes and then when it
starts to wane. The effects of a transit
are often felt as long as a day or two (or even longer). The energy is usually felt more strongly
during the time leading up to the height and then it slowly starts to dissipate
after. It’s important to remember that
Moon transits tend to last a shorter period of time than planetary
transits. I will no longer be including
every transit that occurs, but rather highlighting the most dominant transits
(to make the Blog a little easier to read, in response to reader
feedback!).
(Thursday 2/7/13)-
Just
after midnight, Venus in Aquarius will form a flowing trine to Jupiter in
Gemini (exact at 12:57am EST).
Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt
much longer than a Moon transit. I
have to admit, this is one of my favorite transits! This will bring luck/opportunity with both
love and finances! This will be
beneficial for group gatherings and social events too. If I were a betting woman (which I am), this
would be a good time to buy a lottery ticket.
(Sorry, but I am not responsible for any losses nor am I condoning
gambling-LOL). Venus transits encourage
us to get outside and be close to nature, enjoy art, and admire beauty in all
its splendid forms. Then, the Moon in will be making its
monthly conjunction with Pluto in Capricorn (exact at 6:20am EST) adding
emotional intensity to the mix. This may
help with insights pertaining to business and financial endeavors. Helping to “pick up” on the undercurrent of a
situation. This is also beneficial for
therapy, cathartic experiences, passion, and ferreting out secrets. Next, the Moon in Capricorn will form a
positive sextile to Saturn in Rubio (exact at 7:44am EST). Time to tap into our inner discipline,
goal setting, organization and attention to details. We may want to make long term plans in our
close relationships. This will be the
start of a VERY LONG 30+ hour void-of-course Moon cycle that will end when the Moon will
transition into Aquarius tomorrow afternoon….
The remainder of the day will be
under the influence of the Capricorn Moon….
(Friday 2/8/13)- Our natural inclination today will be forward movement
and potentially attempting to force our agenda. Keep in mind that there will be
long void-of-course lunar cycle that
will last until this afternoon when the Moon shifts into the sign of Aquarius. I would wait until then before pushing toward
progress!
In the afternoon, Mercury forms a powerful conjunction with Mars both in the sign of
Pisces (exact at 12:57pm EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and
its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. This transit will be beneficial for mental
agility, technical skills, hand/eye coordination, quickness, fast-talking,
debating, and even possibly speeding…don’t get a ticket! This is a good time to put your thoughts into
action! Write out a list…and start
crossing things off! This will give us
pep in our step! The down-side to this
transit is to watch what you say transit.
You may find yourself or others expressing themselves in a passionate or
aggressive manner (like “foot in mouth” type of stuff). This is a time when words could just fly out
of your mouth! The Moon will transition into
Aquarius, ending a long void-of-course Lunar cycle (exact at 2:16pm EST). Activities that are favored during Moon in
Aquarius are: social endeavors, friendship, technology, humanitarian efforts,
politics, inventing, and New Age ideologies.
Things to avoid: are getting too caught up in the greater good and
masses that you forget the individual & their feelings, and being overly
fixed in your own unique way of doing things that you can’t consider someone
else’s good ideas.
(Saturday 2/9/13)-
The bulk of the astrological
energy will occur today in the morning. Keep in mind that planetary transits
last longer than Lunar transits. Just after midnight, the Moon in Aquarius will
form a positive sextile with Uranus in Aries (exact at 12:07am EST) helping
us to break out of our rut and even do something
that may be somewhat unconventional.
Technology (like computers), inventing, New Aged ideologies, and
friendships are favored around this transit. This could cause disturbed dreams and/or sleep (possibly inspirational
or vivid dreams). Then, the Moon in Aquarius makes a flowing trine with
Jupiter in Gemini (exact at 12:59am EST) helping us to feel optimistic
and/or lucky. This is an ideal time to
be with friends or to work with groups of people. It is also beneficial for
spirituality/religion, higher education, horses, law/legal matters,
advertising, sales, and publishing.
Next, the Moon will conjunct Venus both in Aquarius (exact at 5:25am
EST). We will want to experience
love on a visceral level. This is a
great time to: pamper ourselves, decorate, shop (because we will have an “eye”
for things that look good), artistic endeavors, creativity, and be in the
company of loved ones. Sometimes this
transit can have us feeling a little indolent; it is actually a favored time
for finances. Then, Mercury in Pisces forms an
uncomfortable square with Jupiter in Gemini (exact at 7:08am EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its
effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. Too much information (TMI)! This is a time where we could find others (or
even ourselves) saying too much. Gossip
may be at an all-time high. If you ever
had interests in other cultures, religions, law, marketing, publishing, and/or
travel; it would be a great time to explore these subjects. Use caution with overconfidence and avoid
embellishment of the facts. We may encounter
a know-it-all today. Sometimes people
get rigid or opinionated about their beliefs around this transit. The upside is that we could be feeling fairly
optimistic and will have a bright mental outlook. Next, the Moon in Aquarius will form an
uncomfortable square with Saturn in Scorpio (exact at 9:12am EST). Luckily the duration of this event is
short. Sometimes this can give us a
feeling of loneliness or isolation. We
may feel passed over or possibly not getting the recognition that we
deserve. It is better to work on
organization around this time.
Next week: On Sunday
(2/10) there will be the New Moon in Aquarius and it will be the start of the
Chinese New Year (Year of the Snake).
