Hi! Hope this week’s Blog entry finds you well! Starting late Sunday night through til Tuesday morning, the cosmos will be bestowing and astrological “gift” on us. The planet Venus (ruling over love & finances) will be making a beautiful flowing trine with the triple conjunction (Chiron, Jupiter, & Neptune). However, later in the week Mercury (ruler of communication & transportation) will be forming a stressful opposition with the triple conjunction. So clearly, do your communicating and planning in the beginning of the week! On Friday Venus moves into emotional Cancer. Saturday may be intense as Venus opposes Pluto. Have a great week!
I wanted to add a footnote to my entries. I include the time that a transit will be exact so that you can see when it waxes and then when it starts to wane. However, the effects are often felt sometimes even as long as a day or two. The energy is usually felt more strongly during the time leading up to the height and then it slowly starts to dissipate after. Keep in mind that Moon transits tend to last a shorter period of time than planetary transits.
(Sunday 7/26/09)- Overnight, the Moon will transition into diplomatic Libra (exact at 1:25am EST). Activities that are favorable during a Libra Moon are: fairness, beauty (did I say beauty?), partnerships, joint enterprise, aesthetics, harmony, graciousness, cooperation, justice, peace, and romance. Things to avoid are: indecision, dependence, fickle, and lying (to avoid confrontation). Libras make great judges and counselors because they are often able to see both sides. Its physical associations are: the kidneys, lumbar area of the back, buttocks and adrenal glands. All of these themes will be accentuated during the next 2 ½ days.
Next, the Moon will square intense Pluto (R) Capricorn (exact at 3:29am EST). Someone could know how to push our buttons and really get under our skin. Luckily, the Moon in Libra will give us diplomacy (even when we need to politely put them in their place). If you are sleeping while this event occurs, it may be possible that you could have intense (or even erotic) dreams. We start the morning with the Moon in Libra making a positive sextile to the Sun in Cancer (exact at 7:41am EST). This is an ideal time to be with friends & loved ones. This transit is conducive for feeling supported. Maybe it’s time to make your sweetheart breakfast?
In the afternoon, the Sun in Leo will form a slightly uncomfortable semisquare with Saturn in Virgo (exact at 12:15pm EST). Remember, all of these are planetary transits and their effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. You know the story of the tortoise and the hare? This time is about playing the role of the tortoise. Youth may try to rebel against authority. With patience, they may find that they could learn something of value! Lastly, the Moon in Virgo will form a flowing trine with Mars in Taurus (exact at 7:24pm EST). Our actions will be in harmony with how we feel. We may crave action around this time or have more energy. People will fight for what they believe is right.
(Monday 7/27/09)- Today will be a very pleasant day…not the typical Monday! Venus will be forming a very positive, flowing trine with the super triple conjunction. This will be a lucky time for both love and finances! Enjoy!! 
Just after midnight, Venus in Gemini will conjunct Jupiter (R) in Aquarius (exact at 12:07am EST). Remember, all of these are planetary transits and their effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. This is one of the most beneficial transits; make sure you utilize its energy! This will be beneficial for group gatherings and social events. If I were a betting woman (which I am), this would be a good time to buy a lottery ticket. (Sorry, but I am not responsible for any losses nor am I condoning gambling-LOL). Venus transits also encourage us to: get outside & be close to nature, beauty, and the arts. Venus in Gemini will form a positive sextile with Chiron (R) (The Wounded Healer) in Aquarius (exact at 6:10am EST) helping to heal old relationship wounds.
The Moon in Libra will form a positive sextile to Mercury in Leo (exact at 10:47am EST). This will make us want to reach out to friends and family to chat. This transit helps with the flow of communication.
Later in the day, the Moon will begin trining the planets involved in the Venus transits. This will further amplify the positive feelings associated with these transits. The Moon makes a flowing trine with Jupiter (R) in Aquarius (exact at 8:28pm EST) helping us to feel optimistic and/or lucky. This is an ideal time to be with friends or to work with a group of people. It is also beneficial for spirituality/religion, high education, horses, law/legal matters, advertising, sales, and publishing. Then the Moon will form a flowing trine with Venus in Gemini (exact at 10:36pm EST). You could find your thoughts with friends or loved ones. It is possible to receive a compliment on how you look. Love, beauty, art, creativity, and aesthetics will be favored (and because of this reason, shopping too). Pamper yourself! Lastly, the Moon will form a flowing trine to Neptune (R) in Aquarius (exact at 10:53pm EST) causing our imagination/creativity to soar. This transit is beneficial for imagination, creativity, daydreaming, idealism, intuition, romance, music, poetry, abstract ideas, mysticism, etc. It is possible to be more charming around this transit. (Although, I wouldn’t make a big decision around this time.) This will start a long, 8+ hour void-of-course Moon cycle that will last until tomorrow morning. When the Moon makes no major planetary aspects to another planet, before it switches into the next sign, is call “void of course”. It is best to not do anything new during these times because it has a decreased chance of working or will have delays.

Just after midnight, the Moon in Libra forms an annoying quincunx with Uranus (R) in Pisces (exact at 12:12am EST). This is a time where someone around you may challenge tradition. You may also want to buck the system. An expected event or surprise could catch you off-guard. Then, Venus in Gemini will form a positive sextile to Neptune (R) in Aquarius (exact at 1:51am EST) giving us a dreamy and idealistic outlook on the day. Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. When it comes to love, we will have our rose colored glasses on today. Love relationships will take on an ethereal quality. If you are single, and you meet someone under this influence you will have the feeling that you were meant to be together. It’s possible that a friend could become more than a friend. It would feel like you are seeing this person in a new light. This will be a beneficial day for creativity, arts, music, film, etc.
In the morning, the Moon will transition into intense Scorpio (exact at 6:56am EST). Favorable Scorpio Moon activities are: anything related to research, occult, detective work, self discovery, digging below the surface (both figural & literal), passion, mysteries, secrets, etc. Things that are not favored or exacerbated during the Moon in Scorpio are: jealousy, anger, intensity, and surgery (it can delay healing time). Next, the Moon in Scorpio will make a supportive sextile to Pluto (R) in Capricorn (exact at 9:03am EST). This will be a favorable time to look below the surface and have in-depth conversations or counseling. This is a time that we could be feeling passionate or intense. This will amplify the Scorpio Lunar traits.
In the afternoon, Venus in Gemini will form an uncomfortable square with Uranus (R) in Pisces (exact at 4:38pm EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. It’s possible that an exciting creative person or project suddenly comes into your life creating a little tension. Time to go with the flow! This is a good time to “surprise” you romantic partner with a nice gesture. You could also have a “surprise” financially; this could mean that you unexpectedly got a bonus OR are overdrawn on your checking account! Lastly, the Sun in Leo will form an uncomfortable square with the Moon (exact at 6:00pm EST). So, toward the evening we may experience some tension between friends or loved ones. This won’t be conducive to feeling very supported. Sometimes this transit brings (minor) squabbles.
(Wednesday 7/29/09)- This will be the most astrologically quiet day of the week. The Moon in Scorpio makes an annoying quincunx to Mars in Gemini (exact at 5:20am EST). Did you ever meet someone that says something that is completely different than how they actually act? For instance: you went out on a date, the person says that they had a fantastic time, and then they never called you? This type of disconnect (coming from yourself or coming from others) may be more pronounced around this time. Things improve later in the day when the Moon in Scorpio will form a positive sextile to Saturn in Virgo (exact at 7:03pm EST). Time to tap into our inner discipline, organization and attention to details. This would also be a beneficial time to garden and connect with the earth.
(Thursday 7/30/09)- The Moon will be transiting 5 planets today. Four out of the five transit will be trying. The majority of the Moon transits will occur in the morning. Today the key word is FLEXIBILITY. Both the Moon in Scorpio and Mercury will be unfavorably aspecting the triple conjunction today. This will most strongly affect: emotions, mental processes, communication & transportation.
We start the day with the Moon in Scorpio squaring Mercury in Leo (exact at 4:07am EST) possibly causing miscommunications early in the day. You may find that you are not be able to express your
self as easily or someone may cut you off from saying something. Between 4:30-7:30am, the Moon will be squaring the triple conjunction (Jupiter, Neptune, & Chiron). Feelings may be intense this morning. It’s possible that we could get a bit carried away with our emotions around this time. It is best to work alone, because interactions with groups of people will be unfavorable. Old pains or hurts may resurface. In the middle of the Moon’s squares, Mercury in Leo will oppose Jupiter (R) Aquarius (exact at 6:38am EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. Oppositions, in astrology, are considered to be stressful. Too much information (TMI)! This is a time where we could find others (or even ourselves) saying too much. Gossip may be at an all time high. Use caution with overconfidence and avoid embellishment of the facts. We may encounter a know-it-all today. Sometimes peopl
e get rigid or opinionated about their beliefs around this transit. Today may be stressful in dealing with children. Try to be patient, as they are more open to the effects of cosmic vibrations. If you ever had interests in other cultures, religions, law, marketing, publishing, and/or travel; it would be a great time to explore these subjects. Luckily, the Moon will form a flowing trine with Uranus (R) in Pisces (exact at 8:54am EST) helping us to step up to the plate and do the right thing, even though it may be somewhat unconventional. We could get sudden revelations around this time, so write them down! This time is favorable for: technology (like computers), inventing, New Aged ideologies, channeling, clairvoyance, and energy healing/work. This will start a long void-of-course Moon cycle that will last until 4:10pm when the Moon changes into adventurous Sagittarius. Use this time to finish old projects. Today is not favorable to start new bold projects anyway.
In the afternoon, the Moon will form an annoying quincunx with Venus in Gemini (exact at 1:08pm EST) possibly causing a monkey wrench in the love department. It could be that the object of our affections is somewhat inaccessible around time…. unfortunately the same could be true with our finances too! Double-check your bank account before making a big purchase. Just after, Mercury in Leo will oppose the “Wounded Healer” Chiron (R) in Aquarius (exact at 1:44pm EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. Past memories may come flooding in around this time. Forgiveness (or the need to forgive) often accompanies this transit….this may be specifically about an old friendship or acquaintances. Lastly, the Moon will transition into Sagittarius (exact at 4:10pm EST). It is said in Astrology that the Lunar transition between Scorpio and Sagittarius is the most stressful of all the Moon transitions. So use caution around this time and allow for (minor) setbacks. Activities that are favored during
Moon in Sagittarius are: sports, horseback riding, outdoors/nature, spiritual aspirations, higher consciousness, honesty/bluntness, law/legal, higher learning, education, travel (especially international), and getting out to meet people. It is best to avoid taking too strong of a stance and not being open to others opinions, as people will usually defend their beliefs rigorously at this time. These themes will be prevalent for the next 2 ½ days. After this transition moods will lighten considerably!
(Friday 7/31/09)- Overnight, Mercury in Leo will oppose Neptune (R) in Aquarius (exact at 3:46am EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. If you are sleeping during the height of this, you could have prophetic or “visitation” dreams. Be very careful
(especially) with business dealings around this time. If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is! Review all fine print closely and if possible put off signing any contracts. We will want to idealize people/situations around this time. To put it bluntly, we could be more susceptible to manipulation or someone fibbing to get their way. On the positive side: creativity, intuition, and imagination could be increased too. Later in the morning, the Sun in Leo will form a beautiful trine to the Moon in Sagittarius (exact at 8:51am EST). This is beneficial for all kinds of relationships (especially with children) and assists in making us feel loved and supported. Very pleasant indeed!
In the afternoon, Mercury in Leo continues its trend and forms an annoying quincunx to Uranus (R) in Pisces (exact at 1:49pm EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. This will set the stage for surprising insights and ideas on new ways to do things. However, it may be perplexing on how to incorporate these ideas into daily life. However, that is exactly the lesson that is present in this transit! People with nervous conditions, anxiety, palpations, etc. may have trouble around this time. In fact, I would use caution with all stimulants around this time (and that includes sugar)….as we could be feeling downright jittery without much assistance! To add to our jitters, the Moon will form its monthly opposition to Mars in Gemini (exact at 7:21pm EST). Someone could irritate you during this transit. It’s possible to enjoy a debate with someone (or at worst, an argument). As with all Mars transits, I recommend exercise or doing something physical. Mars’ energy will want to get out on
e way or another; it might as well be constructive!
(Saturday 8/1/09)- We start the day with the Moon in Sagittarius making an annoying square with Saturn in Virgo (exact at 6:44am EST). Luckily the duration of this event is short. Sometimes this can give us a feeling of loneliness or isolation. We may feel passed over or possibly not getting the recognition that we deserve. It is better to work on organization around this time.
