I hope this week’s blog entry finds you well! I have been very bummed out lately. I have not been having the time that I used to have to write this Blog on a consistent weekly basis. You see, it takes me anywhere between four and six hours (and sometimes more) to write this very detailed account of what occurs astrologically during the week. As much as I enjoy writing this Blog and enjoy sharing the information with you, I am afraid I'm going to have to change the format of the blog at least for now. What I am going to attempt to do is to give an analysis of each day’s planetary and astrological energy and my interpretation of that energy and how it may manifest on our earthly plane. I am hoping this will take less time while still providing the necessary information that we all seek when we’re trying to plan our day to day activities. By doing this I will have more time to devote to my astrological/life coaching business, marketing, teaching, writing, and personal/family life. If I could only clone myself!? It turns out that 2011 has really been a year of transition for me as well as so many others. Enjoy the week!!!

I wanted to add a footnote to my entries. I include the time that a transit will be exact so that you can see when it waxes and then when it starts to wane. However, the effects are often felt sometimes even as long as a day or two (or longer). The energy is usually felt more strongly during the time leading up to the height and then it slowly starts to dissipate after. Keep in mind that Moon transits tend to last a shorter period of time than planetary transits.
(Sunday 9/4/11)- Today is the first quarter of the Moon cycle. Today may be a quiet astrological day. The Moon (still in Sagittarius) will square both the Sun and Venus while forming a positive sextile with Saturn. Today may not be a great day for dreaming or romance but much more favorable for organizational projects. In other words, this is a great time to get things done and it may be best to work on them by yourself.
(Monday 9/5/11)- Happy Labor Day!! Again, another astrologically quiet day. During the day the Moon (still in Sagittarius) will form positive associations with both Mercury and Neptune. We will be inspired to communicate a lot today, but tried to make sure that you can keep the promises that you make. Neptune even positively aspected, can lead to miscommunications and even downright deception. Today would be a great day to write a song, poetry, or even journal. This will be leading up to Mercury opposing Neptune on Thursday.
Later in the day, the Moon transitions into hardworking Capricorn (at 10:03pm EST). Themes that will be prevalent over the next 2 ½ days are: business endeavors, discipline, work, goal setting, drive, public ambition, and tradition. Try to avoid: workaholic tendencies, coldness, and using people for personal gain.
(Tuesday 9/6/11)- I will be doing Astrological Readings at Spirit Dancer today between 3-6pm (I take my last reading at 5:30pm). This is a great opportunity to get an introductory reading from me at a discount-$30 ½ hr. They are located at 125 S. Winooski Ave in Burlington, VT (across from the fire station). Today will consist mainly of Moon transits. Keep in mind that Lunar transits are shorter in duration than planetary transits. Between 4-7am the Moon in Capricorn will form an uncomfortable square with your Uranus and will conjunct powerful Pluto. This could certainly cause an unexpected upset or unexpected event that could feel quite powerful at that moment. Remember anytime Pluto gets involved intensity is the key word. I suspect that this unexpected shakeup could be temporary so don't let things blow out of proportion.
Luckily, later in the afternoon the Moon will form a positive trine with Jupiter around 5pm
that will greatly smoothed things over and bring us back to our jovial optimistic selves.

Today will consist of all Moon transits. Keep in mind that lunar transits are shorter in duration than planetary transits. The Moon will make four transits today, two out of the four will be positive. Today is a little bit of a mixed bag of Lunar energy. Certainly in the afternoon we could be feeling romantic when the Moon forms of positive trine with Venus and then later in the day opposes Mars possibly having us feel erotic as well.
(Thursday 9/8/11)- Overnight the Moon will form an annoying quincunx with Mercury. This will be highlighting the larger planetary transit that will occur when Mercury opposes Neptune. This is not a great day for communication. People will hear what they want to hear, there is a possibility of deception, and we may not be clear with our own communication. Just before that the Moon transitions into unique Aquarius (exact at 5:42am EST). Activities that are favored during Moon in Aquarius are: social endeavors, friendship, technology, humanitarian efforts, politics, inventing, and New Age ideologies. Things to avoid: are getting too caught up in the greater good and masses that you forget the individual & their feelings, and being overly fixed in your own unique way of doing things that you can’t consider someone else’s good ideas. Then, Mercury in Virgo will oppose Neptune (R) in Pisces (exact at 11:25am EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. Be very careful (especially) with business dealings around this time. If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is! Review all fine print closely and if possible put off signing any contracts. We will want to idealize people/situations around this time. To put it bluntly, we could be more susceptible to manipulation or someone fibbing to get their way. On the positive side: creativity, intuition, and imagination could be increased too.

The biggest astrological event that will occur today and maybe even this week will be when Mercury transitions into Virgo. As you know Mercury traveled backwards into the sign of Leo because it was retrograde for most of August. It has finally gained some speed and will be transitioning out of Leo today. Mercury (the ruler of communication & transportation) will transition into its native sign of Virgo (exact at 1:58am EST). Words and phrases to describe Virgo are: “I Analyze!”, Mutable/Earth, detail oriented, perfection, curious, service, criticism, conscientious, health, intelligent, analytical, worry, improvement to others lives, and practical. It is associated with the abdominal area, gastrointestinal system (large and small intestines), spleen, solar plexus, and lower lobes of the liver. Its metal is Mercury. Stones: Jade, Moss Agate, and Blue Sapphire. During the next 2 weeks, our mental processes will become more serious, detail-oriented, thorough, and service minded. Sometimes this can cause analysis-paralysis. It is important that we don’t lose site of the big picture, while we are conscious of all the small details. We also may find that we become more health conscious and will be thinking more about the food & vitamins that we put into our bodies. This is a good time to learn something new and will be more apt to be thorough in your studies. Mercury will transition into diplomatic Libra on 9/25/11.
In the early afternoon, the Moon (still in Aquarius) will form a positive trine with Saturn and yet just shortly after form an annoying quincunx with the Sun. This is a funny combination, we will be making plans and yet could be blocked with implementing them. Certainly this could be a time when authority figures block our path. This will be temporary and will be better to simply pick another day. It would be best to write down those ideas and make sure that we don't forgot them!
(Saturday 9/10/11)- Carried over from yesterday, the Moon will form two more quincunxes with both Venus and Mars in the early morning. Quincunxes usually present in the form of an obstacle or blockage. Therefore, Friday night into early Saturday morning will not be very ideal for love and romance.
In the afternoon , the Moon transitions into dreamy Pisces (exact at 3:26pm EST). Activities that are favored during Moon in Pisces: creativity, intuition, spiritual aspirations, higher consciousness, connection with feelings, counseling, music, art, photography, nature and especially being near water, and charitable work. Things to avoid are: getting so caught up in others feeling that you put your aside, excessive escapism, and acting like a martyr. These are all themes that will last the next 2 ½ days. Also in the afternoon and into the evening the Moon will conjunct Neptune and oppose Mercury. This will simply be highlighting the Mercury/Neptune opposition that occurred on Thursday. Remember what I said about things being fuzzy and making sure that we remain in reality? Try to remain grounded, although it may be a challenge!
The above transits are often felt collectively but you would need to know where within your chart that they would fall. As always, I am available for a professional astrological reading.
