I wanted to add a footnote to my entries. I include the time that a transit will be exact so that you can see when it waxes and then when it starts to wane. However, the effects are often felt sometimes even as long as a day or two. The energy is usually felt more strongly during the time leading up to the height and then it slowly starts to dissipate after. Keep in mind that Moon transits tend to last a shorter period of time than planetary transits.
(Sunday 11/1/09)- All Saint’s Day/Day of the Dead(the 1st day usually honors deceased children & infants). We start early in the morning, when the Moon in Aries forms its monthly opposition to Venus in Libra (exact at 4:59am EST). It’s not good to shop or decorate during this transit. Someone could offend your sense of good taste! Our feelings could be at odds with love relationships right now. Then the Moon in Aries forms a positive sextile with (the “Wounded Healer”) Chiron in Aquarius (exact at 5:01am EST). You may be presented with an opportunity to heal or to be healed. Holistic and alternative medicine is especially favored. Serendipitous moments abound! A little later, the Moon in Aries forms a positive sextile to Neptune (R) in Aquarius (exact at 8:29am EST) causing our imagination/creativity to soar. This transit is also beneficial for daydreaming, idealism, intuition, romance, music, poetry, abstract ideas, mysticism, etc. It is possible to be more charming around this transit. Anyone have rose-colored glasses? If you are sleeping while this event occurs, it may be possible to have prophetic or “visitation” dreams around this time. This will begin a long void-of-course Moon cycle that will last until the Moon transitions into stable Taurus. When the Moon makes no major planetary aspects to another planet, before it switches into the next sign, is call “void of course”. It is best to not do anything new during these times because it has a decreased chance of working or will have delays.
The Moon transitions into Taurus (exact at 7:44pm EST). Positive Taurus Moon activities are: focusing on organizing your finances, clipping coupons, decorating, designing, sensuality, cooking & eating luscious foods, organizing your home, massage, singing, and comfort. Try to avoid: laziness, relaxing too much, stubbornness, obstinacy and being too stuck in your ways. These will be the lunar themes over the next 2 days. Next, Mercury in Scorpio will form an uncomfortable square with Mars in Leo (exact at 7:50pm EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. Think before you speak! We may have difficulty putting our thoughts/ideas into action. This may cause us to feel restless (attention those with hyperactivity, ADD or ADHD). Children (and adults) may be irritable. There can be issues with mechanical failures, travel plans, arguments, technology, communication, etc. This transit may affect relationships and domestic fronts the most. Remember, if someone doesn’t understand what you are saying, don’t push the issue (wait until another day). The height of it occurs toward the end of the day, so try not to go to bed angry…it’s bad for the soul! Just after, the Moon in Taurus will form an annoying quincunx with Saturn in Libra (exact at 8:22pm EST). It may be hard to complete everything on our “list” or to get organized. It’s also possible that our emotions could make it hard to work around this time. Luckily, this influence will be short… Lastly, we end the day on a high note when the Moon in Taurus will form a flowing trine to Pluto in Capricorn (exact at 10:06pm EST). This will greatly assist us in processing our emotions and is beneficial for all types of counseling & cathartic experiences. It will be hard to be superficial around this time. Both Taurus & Capricorn are earth signs, so this is a good time for gardening or connecting with nature.
(Monday 11/2/09)- All Souls Day/Day of the Dead (the 2nd day usually honors deceased adults).
What a day! There will be 4 planetary transits and 3 Moon transits. To add to the intensity there will also be a Full Moon. Try to stay grounded around this time. Don’t forget that the influence of theses transits can last a few days. All of this could make us quite scattered and unfocused (nervous energy). Overnight, Mercury in Scorpio will form a slightly uncomfortable sesquisquare with Uranus (R) in Pisces (exact at 2:46am EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. These two planets are sort-of the “live wires” of the zodiac. People with ADD, hyper activity, anxiety, nervous conditions, etc., may have difficulty around this time. We may get ideas or sudden insights, but we may be too scattered to stop and think them through. There is a possibility that you may encounter someone that serves as inspiration. Awakening. There could be sudden changes in our plans, travel snafus, and issues surrounding technology..so just remain flexible. There may be difficulty or disruption with sleep. Next, Venus in Libra will form an annoying quincunx with Uranus (R) in Pisces (exact at 6:12am EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. Time to go with the flow! This is a good time to “surprise” you romantic partner with a nice gesture. You could also have a “surprise” financially; this could mean that you unexpectedly got a bonus OR are overdrawn on your checking account! Then, the Moon in Taurus will form an uncomfortable square with Mars in Cancer (exact at 9:41am EST). Sexuality can be enhanced around this transit. Did you ever have a moment where circumstances seem like they are conspiring against you? Often, this transit results in a culmination of things that can be annoying. Sometimes small irritations or quarrels can result. The Moon in Taurus will make its monthly opposition with Mercury in Scorpio (exact at 11:04am EST). You may find that you are not able to express yourself as easily or someone may cut you off from saying something. It will be hard to put your thoughts into words. This is a time where someone may oppose your thoughts or feelings. The key is to integrate the two (thoughts & emotions), although it may not be easy.
In the afternoon, we will experience the height of the Full Moon in Taurus (exact at 2:14pm EST). The Full Moon that takes place in November is often called the Hunter’s Moon, Frost Moon, or the Beaver Moon (Native American). The height of the Full Moon is always signified by the opposition of the Sun (currently in Scorpio). What are we holding onto, that we are having trouble letting go of? Full Moons astrologically are considered to be a time of culmination or endings. It depends where Taurus falls within your natal chart, to know how it would affect you on a personal level. I personally like to take this time to meditate and send out prayers for family, friends, and humanity. 
Venus in Libra will form a flowing trine to Neptune (R) in Aquarius (exact at 6:21pm EST) giving us a dreamy and idealistic outlook on the day. Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. When it comes to love, we will have our rose colored glasses on today. Love relationships will take on an ethereal quality. If you are single, and you meet someone under this influence you will have the feeling that you were meant to be together. It’s possible that a friend could become more than a friend. It would feel like you are seeing this person in a new light. This will be a beneficial day for creativity, arts, music, film, etc. Just after, Mars in Leo forming and uncomfortable sesquisquare with transiting Uranus (R) in Pisces (exact at 6:48pm EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. Time to expect the unexpected! A steady approach is best during this time. The urge to be impulsive will be strong. This can be a great time for innovation and sudden breakthroughs just make sure to think things through before you act. As with any Mars transit physical activity is favored (to assist in positively channeling the extra energy). Those prone to nervous conditions and anxiety may have difficulty around this transit.

Election Day Today will consist of mainly Moon transits. Remember that Lunar transits are shorter in duration than planetary transits. It starts early in the morning, when the Moon in Taurus will form an uncomfortable square with Jupiter in Aquarius (exact at 3:06am EST). Someone could challenge your beliefs at this time. It’s possible that you could find out someone within your group has been acting behind your back or is at odds with the greater good. Dealings with groups of people or legal matters are unfavorable around this time. Later, the Moon in Taurus forms an uncomfortable square with Chiron (R) in Aquarius (exact at 8:49am EST). Past issues may resurface at this time. If you are sleeping while this occurs, you may dream about the past. It may be possible to run into someone that will tell you how to do something (even if they have never done it themselves….annoying)! Then, the Moon will form a positive sextile with Uranus (R) in Pisces (exact at 11:56am EST) helping us to break out of our rut and even do something that may be somewhat unconventional. Technology (like computers), inventing, New Aged ideologies, and friendships are favored around this transit.
In the afternoon, the Moon in Taurus forms an uncomfortable square with Neptune (R) in Aquarius (exact at 1:04pm) telling us to not believe everything we are told. Illusion, escapism and deception will be prevalent. On the positive side, creativity will be high around this transit. This will start a 10+ hour void-of-course Moon cycle that will last until the Moon transitions into chatty Gemini. Use that time to finish old business and projects. Then, the Moon in Taurus will form an annoying quincunx with Venus in Libra (exact at 2:54pm EST) possibly causing a monkey wrench in the love department. It could be that the object of our affections is somewhat inaccessible around time…. unfortunately the same could be true with our finances too! Double-check your bank account before making a big purchase. Lastly, the Moon will transition into the communicative sign of Gemini (exact at 11:53pm EST). Good Gemini Moon activities are: communication (including talking, emailing, faxing, writing, etc), working with your hands, interaction with others (especially siblings and teachers), learning something new, diversified interests, mental agility, inquisitiveness, travel, and reading. Things to avoid are: fickleness, information overload, starting too many things & not being able to finish them, hyper activity, talking too much, and indecisiveness. These are all themes that will last the next 2 ½ days.
(Wednesday 11/4/09)- This is another day with a lot of Moon Transits. There will be 5 total, 2 out of the 5 will be positive. It starts after midnight, when the Moon in Gemini will make a flowing trine to Saturn in Libra (exact at 12:53am EST). Late Tuesday night into Wed morning will be a great time for organization, house cleaning, filing, recycling, and being disciplined. This is also beneficial for starting a diet or health regimen (like quitting smoking). Sometimes others will ask for help around this transit, but it won’t be burdensome, we will be happy to assist! Then, the Moon in Gemini will make an annoying quincunx with powerful Pluto in Capricorn (exact at 2:15am EST). Certainly this can bring up jealousy issues, power struggles, hidden fears, and obsessions. This transit could cause frustrations on blending work and social time. If you are sleeping while this transit occurs, you may have powerful &/or disturbing dreams.
The last planet out of our super triple conjunction will now turn “Direct”! Neptune goes Direct today in Aquarius (exact at 1:10pm EST). Neptune has been Retrograde since 5/29/09. Since Neptune is a slow-moving outer planet, most of us won’t really feel this too strongly (unless you have a strong Neptune in your chart like I do or if Neptune was Retrograde at the time you were born). Neptune is usually in each sign for roughly 14 years and goes retrograde for approximately 4 ½ to 5 months per year. Usually, most people will feel this during the 1st 2 weeks during its Stationary/Retrograde phase and the last 2 weeks and while it is returning to Direct. Neptune is currently in the sign of Aquarius and it rules over: dreams, fantasy, imagination, creativity, spirituality, escapism (drugs & alcohol), film industry, music, hypnosis, institutions/hospitals, illusion, idealism, and fluidity. It is associated with: feet, toes, toxins, malformation, leakage, and really anything that is hard to diagnose. We should now see forward progress in these areas!! In the afternoon, the Moon in Gemini will form a positive sextile with Mars in Leo (exact at 2:55pm EST). As with all Mars transits, I recommend doing something physical or exercising around this time (the energy will need a constructive outlet). Sexuality can be enhanced around this transit. Our feelings will be in alignment with how we act. Make sure to put your actions toward positive pursuits! Later, the Moon in Gemini will form an annoying quincunx to Mercury in Scorpio (exact at 9:24pm EST) possibly causing blocks in communication. It may be nearly impossible to express ourselves. You ever had a time that you couldn’t put your thoughts into words? Just after, the Moon in Gemini will form an annoying quincunx with the Sun in Scorpio (exact at 9:40pm EST). It may be hard to feel supported around this time. Accomplishments may go unrecognized. It is possible to clash with someone younger than yourself (like a parent/child relationship).
(Thursday 11/5/09)- Today will be filled with beneficial transits and opportunities! It starts overnight, when the Sun will conjunct Mercury both in Scorpio (exact at 3:02am EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. (Sometimes this is referred to as a “New Mercury”.) Finally some clarity! If you have felt like you were in a fog for most of the week, this transit will help. This will greatly assist in getting both communication & travel plans worked out. It will be easier to assimilate information. Writing, emailing, faxing….go for it! This may be a time of social activities and invitations to parties/events. Take advantage of harnessing this time of mental clarity and use it to your advantage! This will be helpful in improving relationships with siblings, teachers, or with someone younger than yourself. With Scorpio’s influence also take this time to concentrate on research, counseling, cathartic experiences, solving mysteries, working on things behind the scenes, studying the occult or ancient cultures and discovering hidden passions. You could find your thoughts with friends or loved ones. It is possible to receive a compliment on how you look. Love, beauty, art, creativity, and aesthetics will be favored (and because of this reason, shopping too). Pamper yourself! This will start a 4 hour void-of-course Moon cycle that will last until the Moon transitions into sensitive Cancer.
(Friday 11/6/09)- This will be one of the most astrologically quiet days this week (although it won‘t really be that quiet as you will see). The Moon transitions into Cancer (exact at 2:42am EST). Good Cancer Moon activities are: anything to do with home and family, cooking, maternal/mothering, being emotional, crafts, sensitivity, empathy, finances, savings, and care-taking. Things to avoid are: holding grudges, feeling slighted (possibly with little or no cause), over sensitivity, emotional eating, stubbornness, and being grumpy. All of these themes will be highlighted over the next 2 ½ days. Then, the Moon in Cancer will form an uncomfortable square with Saturn in Libra (exact at 4:04am EST). Luckily the duration of this event is short. Sometimes this can give us a feeling of loneliness or isolation. We may feel passed over or possibly not getting the recognition that we deserve. It is better to work on organization around this time. Just a little later, the Moon in Cancer will form its monthly opposition to Pluto in Capricorn (exact at 5:09am EST). This can signify a (short) period of intensity. Someone could challenge you in an area where you are sensitive. Another possibility is that you may spend too much time analyzing instead of acting. Avoid underhanded tactics because someone will be more apt to notice.
Later in the day, Mercury in Scorpio forms an uncomfortable semisquare with Saturn in Libra (exact at 9:16pm EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. This will not be a good day for communication or travel. There may be delays or obstacles with both. It is possible to experience solidarity. Stick with the facts if you need to communicate. Don’t try to tackle too many things around this transit. A slow and steady approach is called for. Focus on one thing at a time, otherwise there is a good chance mistakes will be made or it will need to be done over anyway. Very pleasant indeed! Then, Mercury in Scorpio will form a slightly uncomfortable semisquare with intense Pluto in Capricorn (exact at 6:07am EST). Remember, this is a planetary transit and its effects will be felt much longer than a Moon transit. It may be harder to access deeper thoughts around this time. This is actually a better time for superficial activities. Keep things light! Not a good time to do research or to “dig below the surface”. Verbal sparring or debates could end in disastrous results because others won’t want to back down. Just go with the flow right now. Just after, the Moon in Cancer makes a flowing trine to Mercury in Scorpio (exact at 6:33am EST). This transit will assist us to express how we feel. It will be much easier to speak with friends and loved ones during this time. We may have an urge to be social around this transit and is highly beneficial for all kinds of relationships. Then, the Moon in Cancer will quincunx Jupiter in Aquarius (exact at 9:28am EST). This is a time where you could feel disconnected from the group. Someone could challenge your beliefs around this time. Our optimism or self-confidence may be a little low. This is not a time to rely on luck. Don’t worry, this will be temporary!
Later in the day, the Moon in Cancer will form a flowing trine with Uranus (R) in Pisces (exact at 5:26pm EST) helping us to step up to the plate and do the right thing, even though it may be somewhat unconventional. We could get a sudden revelation in our dream state tonight, so write them down! Technology (like computers), inventing, New Aged ideologies, and friendships are favored around this transit. This will start a long void-of-course Moon cycle that will last until the Moon transitions into proud Leo tomorrow morning! Then, the Moon in Cancer forms an annoying quincunx with Neptune in Aquarius (exact at 6:42pm EST). Neptune’s influence can cause us to be fuzzy and idealistic. It is therefore, not an ideal time to make bold moves and big decisions. It is possible that we may have trouble accessing our intuition around this time.
Lastly, lovely Venus will transition into passionate Scorpio (exact at 7:23pm EST). Words and phrases to describe Scorpio are: “I Desire”, Fixed/Water, deep, prodding, sexual, secretive, solitary, inquisitive, moody, loyal, spiritual, occult, death/rebirth (Phoenix Rising), mystery, and detective. It is associated with the reproductive organs, bladder, rectum, genitals, bowels, obsessions, and allergies. Metals are iron & steel. Stones: Topaz, Opal, Coral, Obsidian, and Topaz. So now Venus will be joining the Sun and Mercury in this passionate sign. Over the next four weeks there will be some intensity in the love department. This can be for good or bad. There may be an interesting combination of wanting to be close yet needing space. For singles, you may be drawn to someone that is mysterious and passionate. For couple, it is best to rekindle things in the bedroom. Remember when you were 1st dating and you would stay up all night talking during deep, intimate conversations? Time to return to all of that! The dark side of Venus in Scorpio is: jealousy, sneaky behavior, secrets, power struggles, and obsessions. All of these traits will be amplified next Monday (11/9) when Venus forms a positive sextile with Pluto. It depends where Venus/Scorpio is located in your birth chart in order to know how this will affect you on a personal level. Venus will transition into adventurous Sagittarius on December 1st!
